MOOSEHORN
Located 31 miles outside the town of Kamas, Utah, in a high alpine area near Moosehorn Lake. This area is in the mountains at an elevation of 10,400 feet. Daytime temperatures are 65-75 degrees, and nights are 40-50 degrees. Drinking water is provided. The nearest telephone is 15 miles away at Bear River. There is a weekend amphitheater program at Mirror Lake. Some first-come, first-serve sites are available. No motorboats are allowed on the lake.

From Salt Lake City, Utah, take Highway 80 east for 30 miles to Highway 40.Go south on Highway 40 for 1 mile to Kamas exit. Go southeast on Highway189 for 12 miles to Kamas. Turn east on Highway 150, travel 31 miles tothe campground.
Important Information: *Reservations must be made at least 5 days in advance.This campground requires a 2 night minimum stay on weekends.This campground requires a 3 night minimum stay on holidays. *This campground has a 7 day maximum stay limit.This campground has first-come, first-served sites.* If customer reserve Sat., they must take Fri. and Sat. If customer wantsto reserve just Fri., that will be Okay with the campground. *A fee for extra vehicles beginning with 2nd vehicle will be collected atthe campground. There is only space for 2 vehicles. Tow plus towedvehicle equals 1 vehicle. Remember to add the length of your tow vehiclewhen considering if your rig will fit a site.No all-terrain vehicles or off-highway vehicles allowed.Campers must have a Fee Demo Pass before camping. Available at Kamas, BearRiver, and Evanston Ranger District Offices. Pass fees are:Daily - $3, Weekly - $6, Season - $25.No ATVs or ORVs allowed. No motorboats permitted on the lake.
