WASHINGTON LAKE
Located adjacent to a large fishable lake. Summer temperatures are fairly mild with the average ranging from 50-85 degrees. No motorboats are allowed on the lake. A Rec Fee Demo Pass is required for camping in single, double, and triple sites. It is required for all who recreate in the forest. It can be purchased at several locations in Kamas, at the Bear River Lodge on the north end of the Mirror Lake Highway, and at the Kamas, Bear River, and Evanston Ranger Stations. Pass fees are: Daily $3, Weekly $6, Season $25. For group sites, passes will be issued at the site. Parking space is limited. Remember to add the tow vehicle length when deciding if your rig will fit on a site.

From Kamas, go east about 23.6 miles on State Hwy 150 to Forest Route041. Go north on 041 approx 1/2 mile to Washington Lake Campground.
Important Information: Reservations must be made at least 5 days in advance.This campground requires a 2 day minimum stay on weekends.This campground requires a 3 day minimum stay on holiday weekends.This campground has a 7 day maximum stay limit.A per day per vehicle fee will be collected on-site beginning with the2nd vehicle at single family sites. Sites can typically only accommodateup to 2 vehicles maximum when considering bringing extra vehicles.No all-terrain or off-highway vehicles allowed in the campground.This campground has first-come, first-served sites.
